If you are now making deliveries from a restaurant with a vehicle not owned by the restaurant due to the governor’s recent closure order, you need to contact us.

Personal auto insurance policies do not provide coverage for vehicles used to transport or deliver goods, and with the restaurant closure order, many restaurants have instituted delivery services.

Fortunately, most insurers have stated that they will provide coverage for such newly-emerging situations, but many have required that they be notified by the policyholder’s agent.
