On August 15, we’ll once again take to the field for the annual Easterseals Massachusetts Softball Tournament, where we’ll face our long-time friendly rivals, Robert T. Reiser & Company of Canton. While the competition is always spirited, the real purpose of the day is supporting an organisation that has been making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities for generations.

For us at Paul & Dixon, this tournament is much more than a game. It’s part of a tradition of giving back that has spanned nearly three decades.

Our Longstanding Commitment

Over the course of the previous 29 Easterseals fundraising campaigns, together with our generous clients, friends, and supporters, we’ve raised nearly $185,000 for Easterseals Massachusetts. Last year’s campaign alone resulted in a contribution of almost $9,000, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped make that possible.

Each year, we’re reminded that the success of this campaign isn’t measured by the final score on the softball field, but by the lives we can help improve through the generosity of our community.

Why We Support Easterseals Massachusetts

For more than 80 years, Easterseals Massachusetts has been helping children and adults with disabilities gain greater independence and access opportunities to live, learn, work, and play. The organisation provides a broad range of services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, assistive technology, employment support, adaptive recreation, youth leadership programmes, and inclusive camps that empower individuals throughout Massachusetts.

The work Easterseals does aligns with values we hold closely: supporting people, strengthening communities, and helping create opportunities that can change lives.

The Difference Your Donation Makes

Every contribution helps Easterseals Massachusetts continue providing vital services. For example:

• $75 can pay for a physical therapy session, helping a child with a disability learn to walk.
• $150 can cover 30 therapeutic swim lessons for someone recovering from an auto accident.
• $3,000 can provide 10 days at camp for a youngster who uses a wheelchair. Last year, our campaign helped fund two camp stays.

These aren’t just numbers. They represent real opportunities for people to build confidence, gain independence, and participate more fully in everyday life.

This year, we’re proud to once again maximise the impact of every donation.

We’ll match every dollar contributed, and in celebration of our 174th anniversary, we’ll also donate $174 for every $100 donation received during this year’s campaign.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us support Easterseals Massachusetts and the individuals and families who rely on its programmes.
