And actually, 80% of flood claims come outside of the so-called special flood hazard areas that banks are required to require flood insurance on the mortgages they provide. So it’s very important for you to consider having flood insurance on your portfolio to make sure that you have full coverage in the event that a catastrophic loss like a hurricane might hit.
