In 1997, I received a call asking if Paul & Dixon would be interested in joining an Easterseals softball tournament. As a lifelong baseball fan, I thought it would be a great team-building opportunity—and just like that, our first team was born.

It didn’t take long for us to realize that the game itself was secondary. What truly mattered was the cause: raising funds to empower children and adults to overcome physical challenges—many of whom may never get the chance to swing a bat or round the bases.

That first year, we raised $250.

Twenty-eight years later, thanks to the incredible generosity of our Paul & Dixon family—clients, colleagues, and friends—we’ve raised over $175,000.

Our commitment to Easterseals runs deep. Every year, we match every donation—and for every $100 gift, we increase our match to honor our nearly 2 centuries of service to the Southcoast community. This year, that match is $173 for 173 years!
