United Way focuses on key areas such as educational opportunities, health access, family resiliency, and financial mobility, working tirelessly to create lasting change and improve the lives of individuals and families. Recently, I had the privilege of learning about the United Way of Greater New Bedford’s two new financial mobility initiatives, Financial Wellness at Work and Financial Futures. These initiatives are aimed at making a tangible and lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families right here in our community.

Serving on its 2023-2024 Campaign Cabinet, witnessing the dedication of the United Way team, and understanding the impact these initiatives can have on our neighbors has truly moved me. It’s not just about financial support; it’s about investing in the well-being and future of our community, the second principle of Paul & Dixon’s mission: helping to make our community better.

This is why we have chosen to support United Way of Greater New Bedford. Our entire staff has signed up for its workplace payroll deduction program, contributing a portion of their weekly paychecks to support this wonderful organization (and in the process earning the privilege of dressing down on Fridays!). Paul & Dixon is matching those contributions.
